As owner, founder, and chief officiant, Rick Burton puts every couple at ease with his warm, personable, and accepting nature.  As a Spiritual Humanist, Rick has a non-judgmental approach, and finds deep satisfaction in delivering a wedding experience that reflects each couple's personality and values.

Rick is a career hotel concierge professional who has enjoyed many accolades throughout his fruitful career. He was inducted to Les Clefs d'Or, ("The Golden Keys"), an international society of professional hotel concierges that began in Paris in 1929.  He is honored to be the recipient of the 2012 South Carolina Hospitality Ambassador Award.

Rick discovered his passion for performing weddings in 2007, and he found it to be a natural extension of the concierge's motto, "In Service through Friendship".  He treasures the memories of every ceremony in which he has participated.  Even more,

he is fortunate to call many of these couples lifelong friends.

Born and raised in Southeastern Michigan, Rick fell in love with the Carolinas on vacation 27 years ago. He is now very proud to call Asheville, NC home.
